Privacy Policy

Last updated · June 2026

Inner Stoa (“we,” “us”), operated by Inner Stoa, respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using this site or subscribing to our emails, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

Email subscribers. If you join our list, we collect your email address and any name you provide. This is stored and processed by our email provider, Kit (ConvertKit), solely to send you our newsletter and related messages.

Usage data. Like most sites, we may collect basic, non-identifying analytics (pages visited, general location, device type) to understand what's useful. Our email provider also records whether emails are opened or links clicked, to improve what we send.

How we use it

To send you content you asked for, to improve the site and emails, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it except with the service providers (such as our email and hosting platforms) needed to operate the site.

Affiliate links

Some links in our essays and emails are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend things we believe in; commissions never change our recommendations.

Your choices

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time, and we will stop emailing you. You may also request that we delete the personal data we hold about you by contacting us at the address below.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to run the site and understand aggregate traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
